All the facts - emails - recorded conversations - witness testimony- will not change the trumpettes viewpoint. Their leader is infallible.
Trump is not infallible. He is often a bumbling ego driven narcissist that often puts his foot in his mouth and gets his thumbs tangled up on twitter but given the loose evidence based on hearsay speculation and feelings even the most casual observer of politics has to admit that the impeachment was nonsense based on a biased partisan hatred of the man.
Trump is guilty of getting in the Democrats way and foiling their plans.
If we can have an honest election come November it will be interesting to see what The People really think of Trump.
I fail to see the funny part unless you can name a crime against a specific statue.
Neither abuse of power nor obstruction of congress is a crime!
Constitution is the law of the land...
In it it says what the Presidents is NOT ALLOWED to do..
And it includes:
Use the Office of the President to personally benefit.
Get a foreign country to meddle in US election.
House has oversight and a right to see whatever documents they want.
o Trump is found guilty and removed-- yes, that is one option
o Trump is found guilty but allowed to finish term, barred from running in 2020 -- This option is not available to the Senate. If the Senate finds Trump guilty, the Constitution says they "shall" remove him from office. The Senate does have the option to disqualify Trump from holding office ever again.
o Trump is found guilty and removed/barred from running in 2020 -- yes, that option is available
o Trump is exonerated -- The Senate does not have the power to exonerate or pardon the accused. It's a false choice.
I agree with you (for the first time perhaps:-) and the OP forgot the most important and most likely one...
o The House impeaches and the Senate votes to acquit

I would like you to point out where in the constitution it says a president can't "Use the Office of the President to personally benefit."
EVERYTHING a president does is for his personally benefit, aka reelection.
You still haven't named the crime Trump allegedly committed.

Is this impeachable to you?
