Federal agents arrested embattled attorney Michael Avenatti on Tuesday evening following hours of testimony by the attorney in state bar proceedings after a former client accused him of misappropriating settlement money.
A federal spokesperson speaking on condition of anonymity said Avenatti was arrested as he left the State Bar courtroom in downtown LA on Tuesday, where he was testifying about his involuntary inactive status after a former client claimed Avenatti had stolen a $1.6 million settlement payment.
So, this guy was in court in Los Angeles, and on a break took a two hour phone call with the Southern District of New York about his case on the east coast. Comes back and takes the stand is is a total jerk when questioned by the California State Bar attorney AND THEN is arrested by the feds while leaving that hearing around 6pm PST.
There's room in the clown car for this clown since Spartacus left. Dems would support him for prez since he qualifies as "anyone but Trump". And so far as we know, he doesn't go running around trying to get little children to touch his hairy legs, or other appendages. Since he is a criminal, he is definitely front runner material in the democratic party. A lengthy rap sheet is like a badge of honor to that lawless, hateful bunch of misfits.
Democratic HERO!!! The next democratic President!!!
Own it America-hating libs, because it belongs to you!
No kiddin'. This guy is crooked enough that he could have been a member of Tump's campaign team... or his transition team... or his cabinet...
