If Bondi is correct in all of her presentation, I believe abuse of power just flew out the window at least to this casual observer. The only thing I see wrong with this soap opera is why didn't someone pop the hood on this thing a long time ago, whether it was Obama, Trump, or whoever? It would have been dereliction of duty to at least not kick this rock over. Call all witnesses and lets see how deep the rabbit hole goes.
Agree totally. However bringing up Biden now total is gas lighting. First, one has nothing to do with the other and second there already are statements from trump's justice dept. that Biden did nothing wrong with the exception of his poor judgement in letting his son get involved in that whole Ukraine mess.

Our public offices are there to investigate crime. POTUS has always been able to request criminal investigations.
There are plenty of Sheriff's offices that are "public" and are funded with taxpayer money.
By your logic, I can commit a crime and be free from the possibility of investigation as long as I state that I am running for Sheriff.
If what you are saying is true,
then the democrat backed investigation of Trump in the Russia investigation was
"using public office and taxpayer money for personal gain" because they were investigating their party's "2020 political rival".
I'm well able to keep up with the actual logic of this. Its you who is having serious trouble.
No incorrect invocation of the Founding Fathers is going to save the Democrats from being viewed as the party that is:
1. willing to endorse and prosecute the investigations of their political rivals,
2. prosecute / impeach those who try to do the same to them,
and
3. interfere with budding investigations into their publicly-obvious graft using any means necessary.
Since Trump doesn't take advice from anyone, he could blunder into using executive privilege. The Democrats could ask for a three or four month adornment while this goes through the courts, and we could be right where we started with witnesses this time right before the election.
Trump fires people who have given him advice that he doesn't like. Rehashing this right before the election. We actually might get a card carrying Socialist as President. It would be worth it to walk down the main street in some rural town just to see heads explode.
