Fact 1. Mueller could find no evidence of russian collusion.
Fact 2. The reason he found no evidence was because trump obstructed his investigation.

Sound familiar?

Molly Hemmingway:

"It is clear he did not commit any impeachable offense. The articles don't even list an impeachable offense."

... " Democrats have botched this impeachment from the beginning, Weird Soviet-style investigation, basement of the house of representatives, no due process for the President and his lawyers, weak pathetic evidence, hearsay witnesses, opinion witnesses, second hand third hand account witnesses, a convoluted series of accusations that were difficult to understand, first- we'll call it quid pro quo, no we'll call it bribery, no we won't mention any of these things in the actual articles...

… The democrats got zero Republican support. Remember, Nancy Pelosi says it has to be bipartisan.

We have the inexplicable one month delay in sending the impeachment to the Senate. If you're gonna be in such a hurry trying to slam these garbage articles of impeachment through, and not found time to subpoena the witnesses you thought you should subpoena, under the name of urgency, you might not want to procrastinate submitting the articles to the Senate because it kind of makes it look like you're lying.

You wanted to drop this to try and screw up President Donald J Trump's Christmas and ours as well, then you still didn't want to hand them over.

We can see why you didn't want to hand them over.

Trump's defense team, doing very well. I'm happy with their work.

House managers have done nothing but insult Senators and we the American People."

The media is along with these idiots, losers the lot of them.

When are you folks going to demand more? When are you going to walk away from this losing bunch of idiots?

What an absolute echo-chamber of sheep. For example, they compare Alan Dershowitz to hitler. Let that sink in for just a moment. This is your team doing this. This is the side you've picked.

I wish President Donald J. Trump could find a way to be more hateful, more repulsive, more insulting, more despicable than y'all assume he has been as he keeps kicking yo ass.

Good day, that is all.

Please accept my apology for my assumption. I'm sorry. But how can we believe that the 2020 election will be free and fair if we leave him at the reins until then? If he gets away with it he will only be bolder and his iron fist over his staff and the Senate will turn to titanium. I cannot abide with him staying in office. He disrespected every voter and potential voter in this country.

You'll assume the election wasn't "free and fair" no matter what if your candidate loses....just like you did last time. Given that, I'm fine with you thinking it wasn't fair. By all means, refuse to learn the lesson from your failures and continue to repeat them.

You being so upset about it is honestly one of the things that makes me okay with Trump being president.

These people tonight disagree with you. This is tonight in Iowa.

Democrats have been in that state for 9 months, and Trump appears tonight and holds an event with more people than all the others combined since the beginning. This impeachment sham has had exactly the opposite effect which the Democrats hoped.

Sounds like the issues are yours.

Which one is more likely.

You guys got Trump this time.

LoL
Highly unlikely. Sondland had his head up his butt. Didn't stop him from testifying. Bolton is going to go nuclear on his butt. I just hope it's on the floor of the Senate. Unlikely but hope springs eternal!

You seem to be a serial copy and paste kind of guy. If you think he's wrong bring an argument. We wait with bated breath. Hurry, I'm old.

So, how can they possibly hope to keep that going? How about building support for having the 'Whistleblower" Eric Ciaramella testify? There is an idea.

But it is too late. It is over.

Their next story should be the Iowa caucuses on Monday. But that and the Democrat primary process will not be nearly the ratings machine or the money maker that this attempted coup attempt against President Trump has been. And they know it.
Oh, it gets better.

Biden argued against witnesses in 1999 impeachment trial memo

Quote:
Biden circulated the four-page document, titled “Arguments in Support of a Summary Impeachment Trial,” on Jan. 5, 1999. In his memo, obtained by POLITICO, Biden cited historical precedents from impeachment cases going back to the establishment of the Senate and asserted “The Senate need not hold a ‘full-blown’ trial. “The Senate may dismiss articles of impeachment without holding a full trial or taking new evidence. Put another way, the Constitution does not impose on the Senate the duty to hold a trial,” Biden wrote at the time.
