I think sanders has the best chance to beat trump. will the democrats nominate him? the establishment democrats don't want him nor the DNC. do I want him to be nominated....no. I want biden to be the nominee. I want trump to win a second term.
I think trump will beat biden easily. but Bernie? not so sure.
Interesting. I'm thinking the opposite: that Bernie would be easier to defeat. He's trumpeting the most far-left policies there are, and except for the diehards on the edges, Americans will not vote in a socialist. He'll lose the moderates, and they'll either hold their nose and vote for Trump, stay home, or vote third-party, meaning Trump wins.
The electorate wants Senators with some spine. Or cajones. Take your pick. Obviously they are getting neither with this crowd. Schiff and Nadler are making them look like jellyfish. Mission accomplished.

First, you underestimate the Gen Y/late millennial vote, keep in mind people born up to 2002 will be voting here. I have T-shirts that still fit me that are older than this.
For my part, I'm center-ish libertarian-ish, don't really follow any norms or labels for the sake of it, don't think that what Bernie's selling is viable unless we completely drop out of the international warmongering and the defense contractors who are the real "deep state" if there is one will never let that end. But suppose we had President Bernie and a GOP majority in Congress not under the thumb of an Idi Amin wannabe who couldn't read the Constitution if he wanted to, we'd just have a period where nothing really happens and we'd get by until the old man croaks and the new blood comes in. I like what I'm seeing out of people like Justin Amash and Tulsi Gabbard. Call it like you see it, and **** parties.
Hillary is a complete coward (surprise? nah) for dragging people when she doesn't have the girl-stones to just officially join the race. Strictly speaking, Donald Trump is a symptom. Hillary is a disease.
we will see who the nominee is and take it up later.
Sounds good, but I've got to figure out whom to vote for in our open-primary state. Naturally, I want to vote for the one most likely to lose.
(And before anyone objects, them's the rules. I'm sure plenty of Dems voted for Trump in the primary, thinking he was the most likely to lose the Hillary.)
If the Democrats win the Presidency, they would have to flip 3 seats. And if they win the Presidency, they are likely to lose a seat in Alabama, but have a great shot at gaining in Maine, Colorado, NC, and Arizona. If they do not win the Presidency, they will likely net, at best, a 1 seat gain.
No, but it will cost the Democrats the House of Representatives.
I am going a step further. i think this whole thing is going to cost the Democrats a chance at defeating Trump and he will get 4 more years. I know a TON of people are tired of the whining Democrats that lost against Trump and also people are tired of not working for "the people", they are just working for their party and the next election. I left the Democrats this past year and feel so much better not being a part of such a whiny complaining party that is off the charts. Don't know if I will vote for Trump, but I doubt a Democrat will get my vote. Not after the display they have showed me since Trump got elected. Insane!

Whispering, tittering, sleeping - this is the 'world's greatest deliberative body" of Republicans
Republicans are a joke. Do your damn job or quit and let the taxpayer elect someone who will.
They have to actually work for a few days and they simply cannot handle it.
