Sounds like a great idea, but don't expect anything to materialize. Palestinians have been slaughtering innocent Israelis for 70 years. They are paid to do so by Iran. Hamas and Iran have vowed the genocide of the Israeli people. Until they become civilized human beings, don't expect anything to change.

There is no money, no $50 billion. As far as I'm aware, no nation on earth has signed up to provide even $1 billion, let alone $50 billion.

There is no sovereign state. This is just a suggestion of what could happen if the Palestinians form a democratic government with free press, free elections, etc. Something no Arab nation has. The U.S. would be hard pressed to demonstrate it met some of the requirements.

Last I read, it had been referred to a committee, which likely means this whole nonsense will slowly fade away.

This could have boosted the approval -- and then as the air was let out of the balloon ....we might see them go back to where they were.

As Abba Eban once said the "Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity." (link)
