Does that mean the Republicans can call Corrupt Joe and Hunter Biden? Or do the Dems think they are still calling the shots, and blocking witnesses they deem irrelevant?

If the Biden's testify, they are all going down. I'd expect Mitch to bring in the other Biden family members who benefitted too...not just Hunter.
Joe's in charge of Ukraine foreign aid, at the same time, its raining Millions of hryvnia (Ukranian currency) down on at least of his 3 family members...for doing essentially nothing. Hardly a coincidence. This is the only real abuse of power and corruption in all of this. If witnesses are called, I want to see the Biden's wind up in federal prison for what they did, and ALL the money returned.
American gives foreign aid to other country's all the time. If is not tied to natural disaster relief, America expects something in return for our financial assistance. That's how it works. Why would we give away Billions of American taxpayer dollars, and not get ANYTHING in return? If people say we should give Billions away and expect nothing in return, then I say STOP all financial foreign aid immediately, and forever.
How can a VICE President of the USA threaten to withhold a Billions Dollars from Ukraine, and a PRESIDENT of the USA cannot? Sorry, no matter what you answer to that question is, I reject it outright.

ALL of the witnesses have admitted that
1. No person from the US communicated ANY plan or pressure on the Ukrainians.
2. The Ukrainians never knew about any such plan.
2. The Ukrainians never complied with any such request... that they likely never heard about
3. The Ukrainians received the money before the deadline.
You provide no proof of your claim whatsoever, are we supposed to believe it because you said it? If you can back that all up then please do so, in the meantime...

sorry sleepy. not one of the witnesses stated they heard Trump actually communicate this QPQ. Not one.
THey all said "it was understood" however, the ONLY witness that actually asked the president testified UNDER OATH that when asked "what do you want?" the president replied with "Nothing, I want NOTING"
the facts I have outlined are the same facts Jim Jordan has outlined based on all of the testimony and the entirety of the evidence.
Furthermore, the dems have never alleged anything that is counter to those 4 facts. They have argued that the president TRIED. HE WANTED. they have never suggested he succeeded.
and in the end, the funds were released BEFORE the deadline, WITHOUT the Ukrainians doing a blessed thing. these are simple facts. facts don't need proof. they exist of they don't.
You want the Senate to subpoena every current or former White House official who might have knowledge of the Ukraine aid events. I know impeachment is a political as well as legal process, but you'd create a terrible precedent for the country. Every House majority could follow the 'an impeachable offense is whatever we say it is,' fail to compete its investigation, send half-baked Articles to the Senate, and demand the Senate act as House prosecution investigators. Bad.
Allowing a president to abuse his office sets an intolerably bad precedent. That is how republics fall.

Sondland was the only direct evidence witness and who admitted pres trump told him "i want nothing. No quid pro quo.
The other "witnesses" all said they had no direct knowledge of quid pro quo, and only guessed, presumed, assumed that he wanted quid pro quo.
You should have watched the actual hearings...not just what cnn and msnbc showed.

It's almost as if the Democrats are going after Trump and accusing him of actions Biden ACTUALLY did.
There is nothing wrong with what Trump did and this is an entire waste of time, energy and effort. It is dismantling in front of the Democrat's eyes, and their losing streak continues.

They subpoenaed McGhan in April 2019 as part of the Mueller investigation, Trump is still appealing in the courts. Fighting this in the courts would have easily gone into 2021 well after the election.
They also could not argue they needed McGhans testimony for the Impeachment because Dems had subpoenaed it prior to any Impeachment Proceedings.
That's why that case was not pressed or expedited through the courts. They could not legally use the Impeachment argument.
It applied only to the Muller Grand Jury testimony.

One of the legitimate arguments being made is that what you call abuse for one President, you would not call abuse by the next President.
Abuse of Office is a road we should not go down. If you do, every President will be accused of abusing his power by the opposite party just for exercising his power.
Did Obama abuse his power by issuing EO's that were determined to be Unconstitutional by the SCOTUS. Then I guess he did. He knew DACA was against US Law but he did it anyway and violated US law.
