Great news to hear. It isn't over though...this will continue over and over again.

RBG can only be reanimated so many times. It looks like they’re working with a pile of desiccated skin and dried bones now, so I’d guess it’s not long.

It's only been tabled for a year. It appears that the bill was poorly written and there is to be another study to narrow the language used and what kind of guns would be considered in this bill.

WJLA
Dont worry, it's dead. No guns or magazines will be considered. Let's get that straight.

Wow, that's a typo! 961 is still dead! And the other restrictions will like suffer the same fate.

Now that these tyrants understand there would be no compliance, they'll back down to save face.

It was inevitable for that bill to fail.

The bill banned silencers and magazines over 12 and certain assault 2weapons, I assume it was the definition of what type of weapons would be banned. The other red flag laws passed. Hopefully this will return next year.

Texas was Dark Blue for over 100 years - until the Democrat Governor of Texas (Ann Richards) let the Progressive's talk her into Gun Control. She lost the election in 1994 over that one issue and Texans began the Red Tide. Those Progressives and Ann Richards (a very, very popular Governor whom I voted for) -- never dreamed of the damage they were doing to the Democrat Party.
No Democrat has won a Statewide Office since 1994. Think of that for a minute.
No Democrat has won a SINGLE Statewide Office in Texas since 1994 .... and it started with Gun Control

Virginians have spoken - will the Democrat Party listen?
The Democrats have a very poor history of listening to the people they supposedly represent.

Virginia is solidly blue, the world has changed and so has Virginia and other states. Rural areas still exist but there has been enormous growth in the last few decades including many minorities. There are other issues besides guns, you're kidding yourself thinking that somehow this is going to change voters over to the GOP in Virginia. The republicans voted against red flag laws, do you think voters will remember.
