Yeah, China is 10000% better at locking down a city.

You'll get no argument from me there.

Our Federal system comes with its own challenges, with separate public health infrastructure in the 50 states. We were never going to be able to match the Chinese effort - in part because they were dealing with one hotspot (Wuhan / Hubei) supporting it from the rest of the nation. We will be facing multiple incoming infectious streams. If, however, there is a time to be different - to mount a massive, coordinated effort THIS is the time.

It will not, however, happen - probably under any POTUS in our fractured political system. But along with our federated system and the virus and a soon-to-be overwhelmed medical infrastructure there is yet one other factor working against a coordinated effort - and that is Trump.

Hell, just a few weeks ago, Democrats were screaming about Trump banning arrivals from China and now people like you on the left are advocating for shutting down whole cities communist style? That’s an odd flex.
Don't confuse him with common sense facts.

He didn't bring (or cause) the virus; it was going to be an enormous public challenge under any scenario. He will not be an asset.

Default Coronavirus patient says disease 'not the scary thing that everyone thinks it is'

A man who tested positive for the coronavirus told Fox News on Saturday that people should stop freaking out about the outbreak.

"I'm not the one to advise the experts on this, but I personally believe that it's not the scary thing that everyone thinks it is," Mark Jorgenson told "Your World."

Default Denver councilwomen Candi CdeBaca: ‘If I do get Coronavirus I’m attending every MAGA rally I can’

Liberal Denver city council member is encouraging people to go to President Trump's rallies with coronavirus.

Rather than President Trump's positive and unifying messge, liberals like the council member in Denver go negative and partisan.

President Trump's rallies are incredibly positive and uplifting events where our commander and chief focuses on his accomplishments and talks about his plans for his next 4 years as President.

She is shameful with her negativity with those who she disagrees with.

The negative rhetoric out of liberals is truely amazing these days. Rather than joining President Trump to unite the country, she and many liberals are using negative rhetoric.

What a disgusting thing to say. If that is any kind of indication of who she truly is, than she is a disgusting pig of a human being.

Tell that to Italy:

Quote:
As of Tuesday evening, 2,263 people had tested positive.

Of those, 1,263 were hospitalized, including 229 cases in intensive care.

Seventy-nine people had died.

where more than 100 out of 120 people admitted with the virus have also developed pneumonia.

Righto. It's no biggee.

God help you if you are male, older, a cancer patient, immune-compromised, or a smoker.

And best of luck if you're a health care worker or first responder. Half the first responders to Life Care Health Facility in WA are now showing symptoms of the virus.

Italian docs and health care workers also sick.

Just sayin'.
