This bill is going to hurt a lot of people.

If you think cost of living is getting expensive now, you haven’t seen anything yet.

This is why I think the whole system is rigged.

I agree with Sinema voting no, but that’s beside the point.

Why is it that nothing ever seems to gets done ? When Republicans controlled everything in 2017-18, Paul Ryan stopped Trump’s agenda as much as he could. Whenever it couldn’t be stopped behind the scenes, there was John McCain doing a thumbs down to kill it.

Fast forward to today, and the Dems control everything, and there is Manchin and Sinema stopping everything.

There is no reason why Sinema shouldn’t be much more to the left than she is on many issues. There is nothing in her past that would lead anyone to believe that she should be the farthest right leaning Dem Senator. I think she is being forced to be the one to stop the agenda.

The game is rigged. On both sides. Are we being played? The left melted down when Trump won, but he couldn’t get much of his agenda done. The right melted down when Biden won, but he can’t get much of his agenda done either.

Not all spending is equal. Infrastructure spending is almost always worth doing.

I agree, but I also agree that from that perspective we need to agree on what is included in the term :infrastructure".

"Infrastructure" is only 1/3 of this, and a lot of what's in that category is paybacks to the unions who funded Biden and the Dems in '20. This bill is completely reckless and I appreciate her sensibility in not supporting this. She's also doing it to hold onto her seat in a purple state. Plus, a good laugh in how she got childish AOC to lose her temper yet again.
