By shutting everything down, how is that helping in the long run? Canceling all these events for 30 to 90 days then go back to normal again. Are "they" hoping that the virus will be stop spreading? I get that canceling large gatherings help stop spreading the virus. But that doesn't mean it will not pick up again once we are back to normal again. Right?

We don’t want tents in hospital parking lots, it needs to be kept manageable.

The hope is that people who have it will get better and stop spreading the virus. That means fewer people will have it at the end of the 3 weeks. The idea is to not have everyone sick at the same time because the hospitals can't handle that many people at once.
I am so GLAD that Trump banned traveling from China, if we had a Democrat president, we would have been like Italy maybe two weeks ago!!!
As if the testing kit was Trump's fault.
Dr. Fauci has said traveling ban definitely worked, it saved us a lot of time, I guess we should all listen to Joe biden, but not Dr. fauci, give me a break!
If we don't practice social distancing, no matter how many damn testing kits we have, we are not going to solve the problem. As a matter of fact, if you can manage your symptoms at home, don't go to the hospital!!!
The most important thing is that:
1. If you are sick, stay your ass at home
2. If you don't need to get on the airplane to save your life, then don't get on the airplane
