Telling people to wash their hands? Don't go out?

When people don't think this is a real threat, due to the low numbers that are confirmed, they will do as they please. Then there is the fact that people need to work to pay bills, and buy food. Asymptomatic people can still infect others, so that is more spread.

I don't think it is doom and gloom, I think if we practice social distancing, there is no way we'd end up like Italy. The choice is ours.
And sometimes we have to be forced into it by government and business.

I was surprised at limiting gatherings to 50... is that really going to do much good?

The last place I would go would be a crowded big box store this week. Shop local and early. Use sanitizer pre and post going out. Be cool. Watch netflix, clean the house, pet the dog....
