Chinese workers certainly don’t own the means of production. They have even fewer rights than American workers.
The thinking seems to be that only a central state that uses a monopoly on force can cure a disease, and since those of us who reside in Anarchistan oppose the almighty central state, we apparently have no brute force, tyrannical remedy to a virus outbrea.
Now, keep in mind that the FDA finally relenting on letting private labs do their own research has resulted in the Cleveland Clinic already developing a test WITHOUT the government funding them to do so. This is an important thing to either forget or do mental gymnastics until you can somehow equate government getting out of the way with government being the solution.
So one of us (AnCaps) are supposed to offer up a theory and then get clowned by all the people who think only government can do a thing.
Socialism as a concept has nothing to do with governments keeping secrets.
What about POTUS Trump instructing all the federal government's experts on the spreading virus to have their pending remarks OK'd by the administration.

Yep, authoritarianism makes pandemics worse in terms of hiding info whether right-wing or left-wing. But can be good for take extreme measures to quarantine and restrict movement to contain outbreak.

Thats less about socialism and more about leaders that care more about their image than their people. Which can happen in any type of government...
