Harris poll. Republicans still solidly support him and his strong decisive leadership which has kept the death toll very low.

The stimulus package should add alot of independents.

Thumbs up Trump Approval @ 55% in Handling of Covid-19 Virus Crisis

Yeah, yeah, I know polls don't matter, are inaccurate, do not reflect what people really believe. Except when they suit ones own political bias.

Still...

Quote:
A new ABC News/Ipsos poll out Friday morning found 55% approval of Trump's handling of the novel coronavirus crisis, with 43% disapproval. Exactly a week ago, the same poll found a 43-54 approval-disapproval -- a near-mirror-image reversal.

There is a tendency to believe polls only when the outcome seems to validate one’s perception.

Not terribly surprising, Americans tend to back their leader during crisis and a lot of the rhetoric Trump spews when it comes to closing borders and bashing China has grown in popularity as governments across the world close borders as a way of fighting the spread of COVID-19.

Don't worry, it'll swing back the other way again.

Trump can't help himself. He got a positive bump for finally admitting reality, but he'll do something to screw it up.
