Trump has no words to comfort a scared nation because he is incapable of empathy. He has no idea what it means, so how can we expect him to display it? It doesn't fit into his Me! Me! Me! state of mind. Being forced to think about others is "nasty."
my wife can't stand Trump but thinks he's doing a good job with CV. He'll ride that into a second term. Kinda puts that failed impeachment into perspective.

Yes, his behavior is really something to be proud of. Leave it to Trump supporters to believe that common rudeness and a complete lack of presidential conduct is a sign of strength.
