At first it was his son-in-law advising him on this, and when things started to get real, he turned to actual experts, with Jared out of the picture right now. Can you imagine it was Jared Kushner of all people first advising Trump on this issue?
Now that the experts are not telling him what he wants to hear, I expect them to be pushed out of the picture, and an adviser like Jared to step back in, telling Trump what he wants to hear.

So break up their business and sell things off rather than come looking for a handout if it's that dire. They've grown disturbingly large.
OK what exactly do they break off? ESPN nobody wants since cable channels aren't as profitable as they once were. Same goes for FX and FX-X which are redundant channels to Freeform IMHO. Why would they buy 21st Century Fox just to sell it off within a year? The Cruise line, but who can use their four ships and soon to be seven ships, especially considering the cruise Indus slowdown right now? The theme parks, the theme park industry is largely seeing money issues besided Cedar Fair and Sea World (surprisingly.) I don't see what they can sell off at all.
