It's not the "gun nuts" who were buying up the guns. The "gun nuts" already have their guns.

As many as 90% of buyers are first time buyers, according to several articles I've read over the last couple of weeks, in which they interviewed several gun store owners.

It's not the "gun nuts." It's the "anti-gun nuts" who are waking up to the fact that the government can't protect them.

Your rights are NEVER non-essential.

That kind of thinking is what leads to dictatorships.

Second time I've seen this claim. The Supreme Court of PA has ruled against gun owners/stores.

Have I missed something? I don't live in PA, so I don't watch very closely, but the state supreme court is pretty high on the ladder. Has it gone further than that?

Why would the gun nuts be waiting in long line risking to get infected with the virus to get more guns and ammo?

Is it not safe to assume those gun nuts already have enough gun and ammo stocked up before the pandemic?

So again, this notion that people who live in certain urban areas don’t know how to use a weapon is nonsense. Nowhere in America is more skilled in marksmanship or the use of a weapon than any other place. I don’t care if it’s LA, NYC or Eastern Kentucky.

This whole country has an entrenched gun culture. And I mean the WHOLE country, not pockets of it.
You do know shooting requires more than just pulling on the trigger, right? Yes, anyone can aim the weapon and pull the trigger, but can they do that in an effective & safe manner? But then again what do I know about marksmanship after 2 tours in Iraq as an infantryman and 10 years in law enforcement.

And yes, it does makes a difference if you live in NYC or LA or Eastern Kentucky.

Let’s start with NYC, there is no gun store in NYC so how are you going to practice your marksmanship if you don’t have access to gun and ammo?

LA (and California in general) gun law is a little more lax than NYC.

Eastern Kentucky? You go to the store buy as many guns as you want and go practice in your backyard or go hunt with your father.

Since this pandemic started I have a lot of non-gun friends messaged me on how to obtain a firearm for their protection. I told them that it’s too late to get a gun now. Maybe next time try to speak up when CA politicians take away your right.

Maybe LA Sheriff ordered gun stores to close is a good thing for 2nd amendment after all.

Everyone begging me to borrow or sell them a gun has over the years stated, "My wife hates guns", "Wife won't let me have one". Well, too bad now.

Preppers have no need for more guns and ammo. Well, not during the peak price points like right now.

772 people got shot in NYC last year. What did they use? Did they just throw the bullets at people with their hands?

This is just a pointless statement. I'm not going down anywhere with the intention of shooting anyone. Break into my house, though, and you're going down. I don't know if this is a pi**ing contest or what.

I actually lived in the Hollywood Hills, slick.

People in upscale areas don't care about guns? Yeah it's not the ghetto but most nice houses have lots of valuable items in them. If someone breaks onto someone's property the cops won't automatically be there, lol are you delusional?

And yes, the typical elite, limp wristed Californians have no idea how to use guns, the thought of a mass amount of people who have and don't know how to use them is disturbing. Anyone who doesn't really know a semi-automatic pistol could easily chamber a round and not realize....boom dead if someone unaware pulls the trigger.
Yeah...I lived in the Hollywood Hills too Moved in as soon as I got a username and password.

I did not mention anything about gangmembers (cause we all know gangmembers follow the law) shooting other rival gangmembers via spray-pray-drive-by shooting with guns they got from the streets.

I was talking about the average citizen of NYC, LA, Eastern Kentucky.
