I would not have a problem with it at all. Kids should be able to read anything that they want to. I was a pretty prolific reader as a kid, I would read literally anything I could get my hands on. I read The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged but really only because of the story, not because of the philosophy. Having said that I would read Ambrose Bierce and Art Buchwald simply because they were on my fathers bookshelves. I wouldn't imagine there would be much entertainment value to a child to read Ann Coulter however.
define child....
under let's say 14...I don't want them reading anything political or from politico's
in HS...where they already have to read books like Catcher in the rye, catch 22, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, lord of the flies, animal farm etc.....why not let them read different books/articles from ALL parties/politicos ….an informed, open minded, society that can see from all sides and even outside the box, is better than one that is indoctrinated by only one side
Parents, how would you react if your child started reading Ann Coulter?
Why would I be bothered at all? Does the OP think she's some kind of dangerous extremist? That just by reading her words, she will brainwash everybody? You must have a very high opinion of her voodoo psychic powers.
There are few if any words that have ever been written in the history of the human race that should ever fall into the category of, "You must not ever read that!!" People today regularly read Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto, mostly to try to understand the thinking that was behind such terrible ideas.
