A convict released for coronavirus concerns returned to jail for assault. https://www.americanthinker.com/blog...d_robbery.html

...The far left, including the Soros front groups, Angela Davis, Chesa Boudin, and other extemists have long advocated for getting rid of prisons and letting their denizens all out to prey upon us, under the tangled rubric of 'social justice,' a social justice that always finds itself devoid of laws...
I wondered if Angela Davis and her friends would sing the same song if these convicts released for coronavirus concerns would had been more closer to their backyards?

Meanwhile in Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago, a home owner killed one intruder who tried to step on the opportunity of the lockdown.

Is it though? How often do fruit trees bear fruit? Do you really need that ficus right now?

Tomato, pepper plants etc. often produce quickly. It stands to reason if someone is obtaining food from their backyard they will make less frequent trips to the store. It's kind of stupid to bring up ficus as the OP mentioned fruit and vegetable plants not ornamental.

I started all my seeds two weeks ago, I will have nothing from them for months. Heck, I even planted starter cabbages, strawberries, rhubarb and onions.... probably nothing from them for 45 days. Few people will reduce their store buying due to their garden. But it IS enjoyable.

Except for the starters and a little soil, I bought everything online

Hasn't worked anywhere else in the world. South Koreans are now arresting people who violate quarantine and are planning to put electronic bracelets on those who they quarantine.

Meh. I don't think it has anything to do with politics. NYC is one of the most densely populated cities, but so is San Francisco and Seattle.

They have let out a couple of criminals here too, but none that were sentenced for violent crimes, child abuse and certain other crimes, basically only people who probably should never have been in jail in the first place, for instance people who didn't pay fines or notorious shoplifters.
