I have no problem with valid criticism of anyone, but come on. Y'all just aren't being serious, the vast majority of the time.
Accusing people of hatred is a teen-ager 'debating' tactic. You have nothing to say, so you try to get personal.

Trump has a long history of dishonoring his word, and agreements made on behalf of the Unites States, so only a fool, or someone wit no other choice would trust him.

Who would pay for all that

The taxpayer of course. You are asking for socialism, and you don't even know it.
Yes I do know I'm advocating Socialism to cover the national interest in cases of emergency. It's not just in this instance of the global supply chain but numerous examples have come to light of failure of the global supply chain during this epidemic especially of nations that hate you or are ripe for being bribed (India).

Nothing new here.

Israel and India and China are the world’s largest producers of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs),the bio active component in medicines and have been for serious decades.

Teva, based in Israel, is the world’s largest producer of APIs for generic medication.

Obviously if the same API could be produced in the US for less, it would have been a major business opportunity and game changer. Guess the Federal Government could substantially subsidize/ control the means of production if the capability existed but the would be socialized medicine.

Read post #5, same thing he's doing and a good chance that's where they got the idea.

You go ahead and build a personal stockpile. I am not interested in investing my money to quell your irrational fears.
Your just a miserable contrarian.

Relax, There's no patents upon any of the Trump Drugs, so any Pharma can produce them. Bayer's knocking them out by the millions, and so is Sandoz (Israeli subsidiary of Novartis). Last I read, we had 18M doses on hand.

Most people only need 10 doses the knock out the virus, so we now have enough for 1.8M sufferers.

We now have ~338,000 cases. The cases can go up 5x, and we have enough to cover them all.

Where are all the Trump attackers who were saying "the Trump Drugs don't work" now? They're all standing in line up at the corner Walgreens pharmacy counter.

As for Trump, his 'we can't trust anyone' is the old Soviet tactic to persuade the population that isolationist socialism is needed for our own protection.

Trump: "I'm from the government, and I'm here to protect you".

It is best that we maintain the ability to manufacture our own medications and supplies, no?

How many tablets is a typical course of treatment? Israel has donated 6 million doses. So, just pulling a number out of my hat, if it’s one tablet for 10 days, that would be enough to treat 600,000 infected Americans. If it’s twice a day, enough for 300,000.
