I am not even going to watch the video, because affirmative action is indefensible.
Anything that is based on racial and/or sexual discrimination cannot be logically defended.

I agree. It should be based upon those who are descendants of enslaved Americans and not race. All descendants of enslaved Americans, regardless of race or sex, should be granted Affirmative Action.

Why not just rename it !!! Call it "permanent dissatisfaction" !!!
See how long it stays around and we can chart it and see when the curve is bent and the people too !!!
Should be interesting to see when we get over the hump and the divergence between humping Uncle Sam's leg !!!
I really look forward to the time when the guy at the carwash takes a 6 week class on knee replacement !!! I may not have a leg to stand on then but after all it is "permanent dissatisfaction" and living up to the promise !!!
I agree. It’s wrong to have admissions preferences based on skin color, sexual orientation, or religion. It’s racist, bigoted, and prejudiced.
I agree. Race, sex or religion should have NOTHING to do with it. It should be based upon those who are descended from enslaved Americans, regardless of their race, sex or religion.
The race analogy is significantly flawed to begin with (here "race" meaning a competition). If our societies goal is to enforce equality of outcome then subgroups within the primary groups should also be considered (after all, why draw the line at 'white folk' and 'black folk'?). Obviously there are many who don't believe that equality of outcome is the goal so the presenters premise doesn't work at all in that context. This is even beyond the general notion of 'evil actions that lead to desirable outcomes don't make the actions any less evil' (aka 'the ends don't always justify the means').
