I'm in favor of a single descriptor to indicate all colors.

Blue, amber, red, green, brown, pink, violet, etc. should all be referred to simply as "color."

The context of the conversation will indicate the hue being discussed, so there will no need to further describe it.

For example, "She has the colorest eyes I've ever seen.", or "The grass is always colorer on the other side of the fence."

You mean Queen Elizabeth II? Commander in Chief (CIC) of the Canadian Armed Forces? When has she ever worn blackface?

Yes, Commander in Chief of the Canadian Armed Forces is among the Queen's duties. Cite:

The Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Armed Forces (French: Commandant en chef des Forces armées canadiennes) is the supreme commander of Canada's armed forces. Constitutionally, command-in-chief is vested in the Canadian sovereign, presently Queen Elizabeth II.
It seems to me that many mis- and un- and ill-informed Americans really have no idea how our military operates, and to whom it owes its allegiance. Hint: it is not to Justin Trudeau, or any Prime Minister, for that matter. It is to Canada and its monarch.

Canada is doing what’s best for Canada. Don’t see why that’s any of our concern. Lord knows that we’ve got plenty of dumbass military regulations.

Nope this is just another PC drill that has little or no upside to it.
I dont know how Canada does it but the Marines are the only branch in the US that call noncoms sir. The rest address noncoms by rank. Only officers are called sir.

And the Marines are the only branch where "sir, yes sir" is used as well. First and last words out of your mouth being sir, especially to a noncom , is a Marine thing.

Calling a Sergeant sir in say the Army will get a response of "dont be calling me sir. I work for a living."

Sorry, Americans aren't subjects of a royal family but it's easy to forget you Canadians are.

Their problem, not mine. Canadians can’t ever mind their own damn business. I say we show them how it’s done by not talking about their policies.

The Queen served as a truck driver and mechanic in the Auxiliary Territorial Service with the service and held the rank of junior commander during WW2.

Elizabeth in the army: When the Queen was a truck mechanic

Male Royals generally serve in the armed forces, and even serve in war zones, Prince Andrew served during the Falklands War and Prince Harry served in Afghanistan.

We've already addressed this part - or at least I thought we did -

Remember this; posted waaay back there in page 5?

The exact excerpt from the actual memo the ill-informed - or deliberately so - O/P used to whip y'all mindless drones into a lather of condescending silliness.

"CANFORGEN 045/20 CMP 021 20 131946Z FEB 20
CHANGES TO CAF PER FOR 2019/2020
UNCLASSIFIED

5. PART III - CFPAS UPDATES FOR 2019/20 REPORTING YEAR

F. ALSO BASED ON A RECENT CAF CULTURAL AND NORMATIVE SHIFT TO PROMOTE GENDER DIVERSITY AND ASSOCIATED INCLUSIVENESS, CFPAS WRITING POLICY AND GUIDE WILL ALSO REFLECT THIS NEW REALITY WHERE SEX, GENDER IDENTITY AND GENDER EXPRESSION ARE PROHIBITED GROUNDS OF DISCRIMINATION UNDER THE CANADIAN HUMAN RIGHTS ACT. FORTHWITH THE USE OF GENDER PRONOUNS SUCH AS QUOTE HE/HIS AND SHE/HER UNQUOTE ARE NOT TO BE USED WHEN DRAFTING PERS. MEMBERS WILL BE REFERRED TO BY RANK AND NAME OR BY USING GENDER-NEUTRAL PRONOUNS SUCH AS THEY/THEIR."

Do you see anything in that memo mentioning anything at all about how anyone should verbally address their peers or superiors?

Didn't think so.

Except it's not a "new reality" unless you are a science denier. Madness on paper is still madness. And it's just plain stupid. What does that policy have to do with good order or discipline within a military formation? It doesn't. It's pandering to political correctness and nothing more.
