I will have to disagree with you on this one. I ask you what is the purpose of the guns. Covid-19 does not give a dam if you your a far right, left or middle thinking. I attacks all with no regard to politics. I'm just amazed at those who refuse to believe science. Lets just pretend everyone goes back to work tomorrow, do you really think the virus will just shutdown on it's own. There is no cure for this virus and there many things we do not know about this virus. I'm may be bored staying at home all day but it is well worth for me to stay safe and virus free. Death by Covid-19 is not pleasant experience and I will do everything in my power to avoid that experience. My duty is to live my life as long as possible. A guy with a gun on the capital steps protesting the right to infect others is a idiot of the highest order. His gun will not protect him from this virus. Only common sense will and he is clearly lacking that trait.
Many people are blue collar workers who cannot afford staying home for a long period of time. They are not the ones hoarding hand sanitizer, or alcohol wipes. They are not the ones who probably have hundreds of N95 mask in their basements.. Many are just Americans who want their lives back. People are frustrated. Can you be a little understanding?
There are a lot of mixed messages out there. For one, here in California, the news media suggests that family members should consider taking their loved ones out of nursing home, but in Michigan, they are banning family to family visitation? Many people just want to survive, that's it.
Did you hear what the lady say at the very beginning of the video? She said, "My husband is on unemployment unwillingly for the first time, we want to go back to work."
Look, I have a lot of friends who think like they do. Just because you and I don't agree with them, doesn't mean they are your enemies, they are still your fellow Americans. They are also the people will pick up a weapon to defend their fellow Americans. These people are not the enemies!!! Probably you shouldn't demonize them just because you don't agree with them. Many cannot work at home, many cannot afford staying home for long. How about that? do you have a solution for them?
Since this started, every time I've seen Garcetti give a speech or be interviewed he has (much moreso than when i've seen him in the past) had an incredibly smug look on his face.

Almost 40% of the deaths in America are located in New York because of the many travelers that state sees, they live on top of each other and travel in filth when they ride that disgusting subway.

IME, riding the subway in NYC was a cleaner. easier, and more enjoyable experience when Bloomberg was mayor than it has been under DeBlasio.
It's sad because Michigan is one of the worst hit states. How many people have to die or get really sick before people are willing to sacrifice some of their LUXURIES and PLEASURES so that thousands will not die/
