I’m sick of hearing this. Everyone accepted the threat of the Japanese and the Germans in WW2. The country sacrificed because it needed to be done. This is not the same thing. We disagree on what level of threat this is, we conservatives believe this shutdown is a dangerous overreaction. I find it laughable that leftist even say this because most blue haired snowflakes would have hid under their bed in 1941. We are not backing your claims this is doomsday because we don’t believe you. We see a political plot and we see the media directing a politically motivated panic.

While some hand wringing anxiety proned alarmist repeatedly tell us this is the new Black Death, many Americans reject the message. What do the rest of us see? Overreaction, dangerousl harm time the economy and political motivation. Possibly even a socialist plot to ruin capitalism in order to bring about socialism. Comrade Newsom in californication land even said this is a great opportunity for a new “progressive” era.

These folks up in Michigan are patriots standing up for our rights. If this does not stop soon the people will open the country back up by the hundreds of thousands. Those advocating shutdowns are overwhelmingly left wing democrats.

What was sad is that some of these folks blocked ambulances, access to hospitals -- chose the confederate flag as their symbol, etc.

It is clear they aren't right in their head.

Yes they have a right to protest the measures...but blocking an ambulance during a pandemic -- dang we need to be better people.

Trump gambled with our lives and the economy and lost, so we pay the price (as usual). These ignorant clowns demonstrating in Michigan are dangerous and need to be smacked down every time they crawl out from under their rock. With any luck they will be too sick to keep this up.

But, testing is part of the problem. In most places in the country the average person staying at home in isolation has not been tested and doesn't know anyone who was tested and doesn't know anyone with the virus. So the angst about the economy is building and wage earners are falling behind for an abstract problem that they don't identify with in their community. The isolation is working so the problem and risk seems minimal. Reading some of the thread comments shows that some people don't understand why businesses are shut down.

As far as hair styles go, if we end up being shut down for another year I suppose man-buns and dreadlocks will be all the rage. I'm approaching ponytail stage.

I'm not about to try and cut my own air, I tried that once before. I'll probably end up with my old high school nickname, "Wild Indian."
Since I won't be leaving the house much the only thing I will have to put up with is my cat saying, "get a haircut, hippie."

That large woman with the green cap, on her knees, screaming at the sky on the day of Trump's inauguration......that wouldn't have been the same if she had been wearing a mask .

Anderson Cooper screwed up and created a bald spot while cutting his own hair (he pointed it out).

Well, yes. And if we stuck the guys in OP's picture and transported them back to WWII, then, yes, we definitely would have lost. No question.

WRONG! in WWII people could go out, go the park, kids could play with each other, people could gather in church, get a haircut, see a movie, kids were still in school. The government through rationing ensured that people could still get what they needed to live, no mobs hoarding every scrap of toilet paper, ransacking the meat sections, etc. We had to sacrifice in WWII, but it was a controlled, measured sacrifice for an actual purpose. Sure, there were problems like the Japanese Internment atrocity, but most people weren't just locked in their houses like we are now.

Sorry Sis, but you must have your own pink hat on way to tight, because it is clearly cutting off blood flow to your brain. These guys, rough as they seem, are protecting YOUR rights. What is ignorant and idiotic is you and others judging them based on them carrying weapons and several of them being obese.

Your TDS is showing by saying over 60 million Americas have no brain activity.
