Unfortunately 99.99% of scientists/doctors don't have the mental capacity to solve coronavirus, so Trump asking a question is more valuable than Fauci repeating the same company line over and over again.
Trump asking "Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?" is exactly the kind of thing Einstein asked when 99.99% of physicists had run out of ideas....
And its not a literal question, its a train of thought.

It seems you are distracted cause the circus is still in town. Its Greenland all over again, but this time with dead people.
Meanwhile, the numbers are going up. WIthout sheltering in place this would have certainly been worse.
Dr. Fauci's optimistic prediction of 60,000 deaths was, as said, optimistic. This is the number that will be reached by May 1st, perhaps a day or two before. By that time, the number of confirmed cases will have climbed to 1 million. Which means in a couple of days one in 300 will have had his virus confirmed and one in 5000 will have been dead. In New York and several other states, these numbers are already much, much higher.
What happens next largely depends on whether Trump will find the cure.
Sorry, I too need some humor in these times.
So far 50,000 Americans are dead in less than two months.
Maybe he's trying to increase his Kill ratio for bragging rights.
