since you've moved from 6 weeks to 8 weeks, can you let us know when that time begins and ends? Thanks.
and lol at you claiming others are cherry-picking.

It's not going to erase all the downplaying over the 6 to 8 weeks we all had to listen to the fools comments on national TV and inaction to contain this virus over that time period.
see, you're leaving your "scientific authority" behind again. It is you changed from 6 weeks to now 8 weeks, which is what I believe constitutes "moving the goalposts". If you'll pick a timeframe - and I don't care if it's 6 or 8, we just need to know which - then we can go through what happened. I won't even grab the simple link from trump.com.
they know it's not worth risking the health of the entire service until we know more about the virus, any immunity, a vaccine, etc.
I can say in NC that 10% of cases are under 24, that's your target age for joining the military. So, if 10% are disqualified at this time from joining the military, versus the potential to infect 5-10 people each, seems like a fair interim tradeoff.
More cases of deadly complications are arising in children. The virus is under evolutionary pressure to mutate to become more infectious and virulent in young people as it currently does not seem to bother them much. Like the 1918 influenza which initially killed mostly older people but then turned on young adults in the second wave, it may come back in a more deadly form for younger people this fall.

Survivors, that no longer test positive..... But it is now on their health records.
Again, I ask what do they know, that they are not telling the public.

uh, that's not how evolutionary pressure works. increasing lethality -> you kill your host -> you lose opportunity to spread further.
