Michigan House adjourns without extending coronavirus state of emergency

"Michigan’s state of emergency is due to expire at the end of the day April 30. The emergency declaration gives the governor additional powers to issue executive orders during an emergency situation.Whitmer contends she retains emergency authority during the COVID-19 pandemic regardless of what the Legislature does, but Republican lawmakers critical of the administration’s COVID-19 response maintain a 1976 law requiring the governor to seek legislative approval for an emergency after 28 days applies in this case."

Different situation. I'll talk real slow for ya, since you're having a hard time comprehending - guns are allowed in THIS building.

You're also ignoring my question - what about this was unsafe?

All wrong. It did NOT escalate into terrorism.

If it does escalate, the situation can be dealt with then.

Just like this virus, people need to stop squashing rights because of what MIGHT happen.

Prove that anyone is at risk. People are being kept from their businesses because of what MIGHT happen. Unless it is proven that someone is a risk, they should be free to go about their lives.

But they didn't spit, so a non-argument. And there is NO proof that the people there have the virus. NONE.

Yes, and the governor didn't give a crap then extended it anyway.

So it will be up to the courts to decide.

And which will come first:

1. A ruling either way

Or

2. The sun will begin the helium-burning process, turning into a red giant star. When it expands, its outer layers will consume Mercury and Venus, and eventually Earth.

It's going to be close. Check with Vegas for odds.

You can't kill somebody by burning an American flag. People who carry guns in public are terrorists. Period.
