Public health types are saying until your state has a downswing in cases, adequate testing, and business have proper safety protocols in place. Usually takes 3 or so months if you look around the world.

America has barely been at 2 months in most places, and we’re losing our **** lol.

Some people just cannot and will not understand until they themselves or someone they love gets covid. School of Hard Knocks is the only way a segment of the population learns anything, if they're going to learn at all.

If they don't personally witness it or experience it then it doesn't really exist in their minds. And even if they think it does exist, they either think they're immune to it, don't care if they get infected, or don't care if they pass it on to others in the time in between catching it and experiencing the symptoms.

Darwin wins in the end.

Just like catching the flu for one person can mean an agonizing week of aches and pains, and maybe coming down with pneumonia, but for another person of the same age and health, it's a day or two of the sniffles.
Tell that to the families of those 50 and younger who have died or gotten seriously ill from it.

No not really. Are you talking about numbers? If we didn't follow their lead on social distancing then their numbers would've been pretty accurate...

It's like preparing for disaster and people say it was overhyped because it wasn't that bad. We wasted too much resources preparing... Well maybe it wasn't so bad because WE PREPARED???

From the very light on facts news reports on it looks like about 25 Walmart employees. Total.

Walmart is the largest, most foot trafficked, and ONLY store where most people can shop right now. They have more than 5,000 stores and more than 1.5 MILLON employees. With an average store size of 40,000 square feet. How did they manage to keep that clean EVERY DAY?

How did ANY of them manage to stay open??? How did everyone else manage to stay healthy and not get deaded from the virus???

Makes. No. Sense. 25 cases out of 1.5 million employees is ... huh.

Read that the Denver Mayor shut down liquor stores for all of two or three hours before changing his mind.
For medical and mental health reasons.

Hospitals didn't wanna have people coming in for alcohol withdrawal ...

And people cope better if they have something to enjoy while being stuck at home...

People die every day from all sorts of things.

Shall we all just shutter ourselves in doors for the rest of our lives in protest? Is that your argument?

Except that it does, in this case, by way of licensing.

Or did you think that this and other businesses can just open when and wherever they feel like?

Nope.

“ Gov. Jared Polis, calling the restaurant an "immediate health hazard," has suspended the restaurant license of C&C Breakfast & Korean Kitchen in Castle Rock, a day after a video showing a packed dining room in defiance of public health rules.”

To cope with govt mandated depression, job loss, spousal abuse, financial devistation, loss of social interaction, etc. while supplying it with much needed tax revenue.
