Trump is terrified alright. Once he is booted out of the White House he will be arrested and charged.
After Trump loses the election I think he will request asylum in Moscow. Putin will be happy to grant that to his buddy Trump.

We saw it in the run up to 2018, Trump was crazily saying there was thousands of illegal immigrants stampeding for the United States, that if the country didn't rush to vote for Republicans, we would be overtaken by a violent mob of murderers, rapists and drug dealers. Then 2018 happened and suddenly he stopped talking about it.
Now it is the run up to 2020 and Trump is again screaming. Mail in ballots bad! Voter fraud! Violently protest blue states! Use the Justice Dept. to investigate Democrats! Everything is a threat that only the GOP can stop including the WHO, China, the CDC, the FBI (Republicans are even suggesting the FBI should be disbanded). Trump's loyal supporters will do his bidding, echoing his every tweet. Trump's throwing billions at the farmers like the bill will never be due.
Should Trump win, I predict they will all suddenly say we need to work together and unify. Trump is terrified he will be humiliated by having to leave the White House early.
Trumps not doing it because it isn't happening. I can see where irrational, emotional, adolescents that need government to run their lives would think so.
I request to be added to your list. I wouldn't want to spoil your echo chamber.
You got it.
By the way, there are some Trump supporters and right wingers on this site who make good points. I even occasionally agree with some of these folks, particularly their criticisms of the far left. But I have noticed that the posters who are fond of throwing out the "TDS" nonsense (and "Orange man bad") never have anything interesting to say. Jut endless simple minded repetition.

Trump lies, Americans die.
The delusion and TDS over there in Left Field gets crazier by the minute. Trump is merely a buffoon -- too much given to over-simplification -- the lesser of several evils, but he is far less of a threat than the frothing-at-the-mouth clique who are obsessed with removing him.

At this point, I doubt he'll leave the White House "early," if that means before his four years is up. And on top of the humiliation, I think he's terrified that there will be a wave of lawsuits the moment he's a private citizen again.
But you're right that he's falling back on the same things from the first time, plus doing everything to diminish voter turn-out.
