I actually completely get what the protesters are asking for, and it’s totally reasonable. But the message is drowned out by the riots. .
True, and the underlined is due to lefties who enjoy grouping together rioters and protestors.
I am for peaceful protest, but also believe our LEOs must insist it is 100% peaceful, and must use overwhelming force, including but not limited to tear gas, the minute even one acts out in a gathering of protestors. Done a few times, and the peaceful will insure the rioter learns his/her lesson..from them.
Think it can't be done? MLK controlled THOUSANDS at protests regularly, with just one bad event (Memphis 1st visit).
I lived near Nashville 17 years. Tell a living Freedom Rider maintaining a 100% peaceful coalition is impossible.
It takes determination, but until protests are 100% peaceful , their messages will properly be dismissed. They do not deserve to be heard until it is 100% peaceful.

Yes it does appear to have calmed down. Protestors were out past the curfew in many cities but no use of force by police. So much for that nonsense from the other night in DC when they cleared peaceful protestors for Trumps photo OP, they were out well past the curfew last night and no tear gas.

The democrats with their need to divide us and keep us all as victims control way too much of our media and culture and FACTS and common sense get totally drowned out.
What kind of backwards society is this where thugs burning down and looting our country have universal support from celebrities, media, Democrat politicians; while law abiding people are labeled racists, ordered to stay in their homes, close their businesses, and follow a litany of Orwellian rules? I have never been this livid.
