That’s where we are headed. What happens when you have this many people in the country who feel their lives are so bad they have nothing to lose. Not good.

It isn't Trump's fault bad guys have guns, but it is his fault his antagonistic rhetoric seems to be putting fuel on the fire.
So society should yield to the mob?

**** that, no way!!!

But it is the governors’ fault and Trump is right in calling them out. What good are they if everything requires Trump? What’s the point of governors if they don’t do anything? Trump sends in troops and Cuomo for example is calling him authoritarian.

Throwing tear gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protestors so he could walk across the street and wave a Bible in front of a church like some zealous Elmer Gantry didn't exactly make him look like a leader of men either.

Don’t lie. Those were not peaceful demonstrators.

What do the protesters that turn violent want? They chant for justice. The bad cop has been arrested for murder. They chant that "black lives matter", ok they do just as all lives do but the "lives" also extend to people and their business' that have been destroyed.

What is going to fix this mess? Rioting and looting does nothing. Executing a police officer does nothing.

There are 2 ways to fix this. Send in the troops to stop the riots as Trump suggests or let the looters destroy and then let them clean up the mess but we also have to let the shop owners to defend their lives and business'.
Careful what you wish for. Sending regular troops in is a dangerous road. The military is NOT law enforcement. They do not keep order. Their job is to break things and kill people.

Simply put, their mission is combat. An Army Ranger is not a cop. He will kill you, not ask you to disperse and arrest you if you dont. A field light or full bird is not a chief of police. He will order his command to shoot to kill

I am a right leaning guy. I cant be called a leftist, progressive or liberal. And I dont support the regulars on my streets. At all. The NG can handle it. I dont want uniformed regulars standing in front of my house.

Hell, NG spooks me. They ARE the Army. Says so above their left lapel. US ARMY.

NO NO NO.

There is nothing in my post that says we should allow this to continue.

There's a few approaches that might be more helpful.

First, don't declare you support the right to peaceful protest as you tear gas the crowd for a photo op. I don't care how you spin it -- this is not the right message.

And yes --- firmly, encourage community leaders to secure their communities to the max.

But do not use cute little 'looting shooting' statements.

That's just fuel to the fire.

It is difficult to craft a well meaning statement ....Trump's communication team sucks and he is surrounded by incompetence.

Why should we handle these rioting protestors with kid gloves?

Once they start smashing and looting there SHOULD be shooting.

The president was right to say it!

Driven by the MSM telling them that, day after day.

A lie repeated often enough.......

A friend once told me, "the rats in the USA live better than anywhere else in the world".

Bunch of spoiled brats, destroying themselves, and the best thing the universe has ever seen, because they're so greedy, they believe the lie that it could get better with communism.

I'm an old man, and I almost hope they get what they deserve at this point. Azzzholes.
