Who can blame them?? Their options are to either give up or have their lives ruined for doing their jobs. I'd sure as hell quit!!

He pushed to cops first and they pushed back. The man approached the cops on purpose so he could play victim on cameras. Something doesn't seem right. His right hand held on to the phone. His legs crossed.

He pushed the cops? When?

And did they fall? Or just fly back a foot or two?

If the cops did nothing wrong, why did they lie?

Those parts of the country don't deserve police protection, let them go without. Instead of a "purge" day, we can just have "purge" cities.

They didn't resign from their jobs. They still are on the police force. They simply resigned from being part of the riot response team.

Dare ya.
The police officer was actually checking on the alarm that sounded on his friend's business. He wasn't out there protesting but trying to protect the business from looters.

He was considered an essential worker - the other gentleman was a protestor out after curfew. Did you routinely disobey your mother when she told you that you had to be home at a certain time? It may explain why personal responsibility seems foreign to you.

I'm not aware of any politicians who are "anti-cop." Just because you want to hold bad cops accountable that doesn't make you "anti-police."

I fully support law enforcement. I also happen to think taking a broom, cleaning house, updating policies and rules of engagement, would be the best thing we could do for them.

Seriously, OM@G ... EVERY single one of these cops should be fired immediately. Failing to render aid to a severely injured man that a few of them caused injury to.

But noooooo.... they chose instead to RESIGN like little cowards from the unit, just like how they cowardly refused to do the right thing when they saw what had just happened by some of their own.

Good god... is this sending the wrong message to America. Cops too afraid to render aid? Cops indifferent to injuries caused? Cops too stupid? What the heck did we witness here? Indifference, blind obedience, assault, complicity?

ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Yeah, I saw the officer giving them orders to stay in line - but screw it - you do not have to follow orders when you know they are WRONG. To "serve and protect" doesn't mean to "IGNORE AND TO FOLLOW".

SCREW THESE *******S EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM.

NONE of them deserve to be cops after seeing this and doing nothing. Not a single one. There was NOTHING that was a higher priority at that time then giving aid to the injured man. NOTHING!
