When a banana peel is found on a tree because someone was too lazy to throw it away, and not because the individual who discarded it wants to kill all black people, the Right needs to learn how to ignore the Left's insane ramblings that it was indeed a genocidal plot.
Having said that, one must examine why the Right isn't willing to do that.
Too stupid?
Perhaps. They are statists after all. But not to that level, IMO.
Too emotional...in the sense that they get personally offended by the accusation of being racist or defending a racist (the loafer who couldn't find a trash can)?
Perhaps. Statists are emotional by nature, not logical. But not to that level, IMO.
So what is it? Why is the Right so willing to volley the racial ball back to the Left and play the game with them?

Somebody needs to tell these black men about Simon Grey. Simon was a black man who was the manager of a logging operation. He managed black and white men, carried a gun and large sums of money. He was so successful that he built a vacation home in Hot Springs. But Simon was a slave.
Benjamin Banneker also did great things with his intelligence. He was an inventor and designed the streets of Washington DC. But he was a slave.
York was the slave of William Clark and was a prominent and important figure in the Journey of Discovery and at one point saved his master’s life.
Being black and successful doesn’t mean there is no racism. Jefferson never believed Banneker was his equal ,even when asking for his help and when York was out of line William Clark threatened to beat him and same went for Simon grey. Conservatives sell the elixir that "see I gave you money that means I think you are equal to me." They hate Obama because he wouldn't drink it. He didn't want their money what he wanted was their power and that hurt.
