Biden is a simple tool used by the DNC. Horrifyingly enough, they think Biden is their best choice.
There are almost no Republicans who are "on the fence" with Trump. The Democrat choice of Biden assures that.

You have stumbled across the definition of leadership.
In one instance you declare that Trump (the leader) is using the GOP. He leads the GOP.

In another you acknowledge that Biden is being used by the DNC. He does as he is told.

Intimidating the opposition in to silence =/= Unity

Something many on the left do not seem to understand.

I 100% agree with the bolded comment.

I don't agree with the rest of it, but that is my opinion, and I respect yours. But the bolded applies to all things, partisan and non-partisan. It really has been a catalyst of divisiveness.

One is emerging right now; it's called libertarianism. Fine-tuning it to the needs of a post-industrial society is up to you and me.

I'll vote Trump because why not.... Its a choice between socialism or more socialism. The elites within the empire knows it's going to fall but is not capable of doing anything about it without significant pain of course from kicking the can down the road for so long. They'll just extract what they can and move their base of operations.
Biden is socialist? He’s not even close to being a socialist he’s a centrist

Libertarianism is becoming too closely aligned with anarcho-capitalism nowadays for my tastes. I'm all for a more decentralized system with stronger(but still constrained) local governments and weaker federal, but the ancap thing is a complete non-starter for me and I won't support libertarians so long as the two movements remain intertwined.

I agree. I wish there was one.

As a registered republican for over 20 years, it feels weird agreeing with democrats on a lot of issues. That's how far to the right Trump has dragged the GOP.

I could even see someone like Pence as a person that could calm a situation down somewhat. Or if you look back at the 2016 primaries you had other candidates that weren't anywhere near as divisive.

Trump is your candidate though and his tweets and comments are often absurd. I don't think anybody should vote for a highly divisive candidate right now in these times.

P.S. No, Trump supporters aren't bad people. There are good and bad across the board.

Response: I'd rather be in the field working alongside one with conviction than on the fence with the undecided.

This is all due to Trump's obvious criminality. It should make honest patriots think twice.

No they weren't. This claim has no basis in reality.

The Republicans were immediately emboldened to try and bury the independent Office of Congressional Ethics in early January 2017 [apparently they were coolly thinking ahead toward their next moves]. Then the Republicans crafted this monstrous tax cut for the rich behind closed doors, boldly creating enormous new deficits. There is nothing about 'running scared' in those actions. It was very 'in your face and we don't give a damn'. You should be proud of them.

The only problem Republicans had was how brazenly incompetent, unethical and amoral Trump turned out to be. Worse than anyone expected and hard for the average moral person to defend, naturally they were taken aback.

But they soon learned the art of bootlicking, and there we have it for the last 3-1/2 years.

Trump is playing the game the Democrats constructed. He was pretty clear about being everyone's president and wanting to make lots of deals with congress, but the Democrats are having none of that. He is their enemy, and Trump has been forced to embrace that role.

Politics is politics, and there is always some amount of division, but what we're seeing today is a direct result of the left pushing for exactly what we're seeing, and the right not having the balls to stand up to them and say no.

I think we're going to hear a very loud "NO" in NOvember. Could be wrong, but I don't think so. Every protest turned violent; every statue torn down; every attack on our freedom turns more votes from blue to red. Every. Single. One. So keep it up, guys. You think you have the pulse of the country, but you are very, very mistaken.
