Which party has led the way on marijuana legalization and alization? One of the major sources of the Black prison pipeline?
Which party led the way on eliminating mandatory sentencing and sentencing discrimination that most affected Black & Brown populations?
Which party actually fought for prison reform and did all the legwork that Republicans want to give Trump credit for signing?
And that's just scraping the barrel for the last few years and only taking about issues Black leaders have brought up repeatedly in the past as needs to be addressed.
Don't get me started on what Democrats have done for Brown folks. Or Muslims. Or LGBT folks. Or any folks not powerful enough to have their voices represented.
To claim both parties are pushing the same priorities means you're either too ignorant to actually have a fully formed opinion on this. Or you're too dishonest to accurately frame the discussion.
