LOL! Yeah the garden is hysterical. Put these people out in the middle of nowhere to try to survive and they would all be dead within a week, every last one of them.

So true ... but in order for their Communist community to not be colonization (a very very dirty word for a Marxist), they'd need to go to an uninhabited island or place. They would need to do so without reliance on the evil capitalist nations, so they'd need to be dropped off with nothing. Maybe let them have some very basic clothes, but that's kinda pushing it. They would all die of starvation if they didn't just kill each other first.

They have no real skills because the parents have probably failed at raising them and the education system has DEFINITELY failed at preparing them for the real world.

Doesn't that prepare them for the real world?
Maybe I am old fashioned but I still believe the real world to be sustaining an adequate food supply, maintaining secure shelter and protecting ourselves from threats in the environment. Without those things and much more, 'the history of sexuality' is moot.

Places like CHOP are proven to be less criminally active than isolated urban communities.
The latter is flushed with cash and out of residency work places.
CHOP has cooperative labor where work and residence are fused into one. People clean the streets, provide fresh water, and grow vegetable gardens in public communes.
Unlike mainstream zones it is less of a center for addiction, greed, or commuter culture and more a promoter of pooling together capital and building familial bonds with neighbors.
Its less materialistic than your average American lifestyle but its more wholesome and less corrupt.
Hopefully the model spreads to every city so people have an option to opt out of the normal rat race.
Now CHOP is going through a tough transition period, but once the organizers better develop the public infrastructure, the better it will get.
