Yes, and I can speak with first-hand knowledge about the degree to which affirmative action favors blacks and Latinos and disfavors whites and Asians. Test scores and grades that would have white students’ applications tossed in the trash - not even in the running - would have black students’ applications approved with little question.

And it caused problems. You ended up with higher-achieving whites in the program (after all, admissions officers determined that a 3.8 was really needed to master the program), and blacks who were struggling throughout, requiring tutoring and handholding to get through. But why would that be a surprise? Blacks could get in with a 3.3, whereas whites needed a 3.8, and thus they were competing against much better students.

Also, you all might find interesting, but the kids who scored high on standardized testing in elementary school were the SAME young adults to score high on admissions tests to law school and medical school 15 years later. In fact, with some exceptions of course, you could look at an LSAT or MCAT test scores and guess, within a fairly small margin, what the students‘ test scores were a decade and a half before, as a child.

Wait, but I thought "systemic racism" was the thing?

You're going to have to get your story straight.

Which is it, is there "systemic (structural) racism" or

is it that Blacks are not genetically capable of being functional because White people somehow reached into their genetic code, throughout pan-Africa, and made them unable to function centuries later?

And White People did this merely through interacting with Blacks in the few geographic places that had slaves, but somehow this extended to all of Africa. And it was harmful enough to change their genetic code forever.

But when White people (or anyone else) were slaves it didn't effect them in the same way.

And at the same time all races are genetically equal.

Which hustle are we dealing with today, specifically?

The Press can move the goalposts because they disallow the public a forum to critique their nonsense, but this is a forum and you will be held accountable for moving goalposts.

Very specifically who says that Black dysfunction is caused by historical White oppression?

How exactly do they know?

Through rigid data analysis using lots of variable controls for their data, comparing Black populations throughout the World?

Or is it just another hustle like "systemic racism".

It's just another hustle.

You're just reframing the phantom-like "systemic racism' charge to apply to some never-existed broad-history where Whites oppressed every Black lineage on the planet

Is the African immigrant to the United States whose kids have the same outcome as other Blacks, but whose ancestor never saw anyone White, a victim of centuries of White Oppression?

Is "White Oppression" unending development and food aid to Africa, and generous employment and academic preferences in the USA??

At what point are Blacks responsible for their outcomes, anywhere in the World?

Or, in the Black mind, is their future and all possible potential irrevocably linked to what the White man does?

Where is the evidence of robust independent Black potential that the Evil White Man is still magically oppressing in 2020?

These hustles fall apart very quickly even under casual analysis.

This is why they require ham-fisted defense by the Press and other institutions, which disallows for tolerance of any dissenting view.

It sounds a lot cooler than “I burned down Wendy’s because I felt like it”

If you don’t think affirmative action is systematic racism, you are out of your mind.

Black people overwhelmingly support it yet they claim without evidence it only benefits white women. LOL. Are black people overwhelmingly showing off here?

Back to Affirmative Action. It openly tells people that blacks people are too stupid to get in school or get a job, therefore we must help them. You don’t think that create racism against black people?

Agree! They say it doesn’t help blacks, but if you suggest changing it to a race-blind system (based on economics), they say the change will hurt blacks. So which is it?

A great example is the drug laws.

The reason they were created was due to fears of minorities and what they could do, that would impact white women and white jobs. creating laws was a legal way police could target them.

Basically, its using the system to justify racism. that cannot be tolerated in the modern world!

Im doing my part by increasing awareness about this, its funny, almost NO ONE believes drug laws have anything to do with racism, until they read about it, Govt and police have been been lucky so many people are not aware of the roots of these laws!

The free market isn't racist. You will have a few businesses who are racist nowadays but they wont be in business long. That's the norm.
