Please just stop with the hocus pocus and pontificating that you utilize to minimize the seriousness of this vexing NEW virus and the disease and damage that it causes. By the way, I ask again, why do you continually downplay the gravity of this public health crisis?
Except that happens EVERY SINGLE YEAR with the routine flus and colds and other viruses, but nobody bats an eye! Why is this one different?

Nice back stroke.... you're good at it, but still incorrect in your assumption.

How do you have a healthy economy with 60,000 new infections each day for the last week with hospitals full, who in their right mind is going to a restaurant or school in one of these states with 10,000 cases.

As per usual you don't know what you are talking about kiddo. The median age of those dead from COVID-19 is older than the median life expectancy in this country and most of those that die have other serious health problems. If the rona didn't get them, they'd still likely have died within the year from something else.

Your fear mongering nonsense might work on the uninformed or on scared boomers, but it won't work on people with first hand experience with COVID-19.

You don't know that, but what we do know is that Europe did the hard work while these states shut down late and opened up too soon,

If you work in a hospital you wouldn't be claiming this is an overreaction.

Maybe you can quote some nurses or doctors in Arizona or Florida that agree that this is fine because mortality is mostly limited by demographic.

What is the mystery state in which you reside that you can dismiss this virus.

and yet the lights are still on, nukes haven't melted down, air traffic is still being managed, military still operates, the water is still running, garage gets picked up, mail gets delivered, grocery stores still open, etc. etc. etc

How is this possible in the midst of a pandemic? Are we using robots? or AI?

This has been asked and answered repeatedly. If you truly don't understand the difference between this vexing new virus and the flu and the common cold, that information is easily found and is widely available. It is not the cold or flu. It is more dangerous, more contagious, spreading rapidly and has affected many more people. There is no effective treatment or vaccine. These are just a few differences. This pandemic is grave and it is a real public health and security crisis.

If your question was genuine, it will be easy to find answers. You will be served better by obtaining them from a credible source rather than social media/CD.
