No that is untrue. There certain are some but for instance children brought in have committed no crime. And most of the overstayers have no criminal violations. Deporting is a civil thing and there is no possibility of pursuing criminal charges against 3 or 4 million who may have violated a criminal statute.

And we are not going to change the birth right provision and we are not going to expand the immigration enforcement to enable any significant level of prosecuting and deporting the illegals.

So you have the same simple question that has haunted us for the last decades. Do you wish to fix the immigration system or do you simply wish to whine about it?

The absolute truth! I couldn't care less about skin color or race just that they be in our country legally and assimilate into our society. Sick of these race baiters to.

As long as any working person pays his fair share of taxes I'm for it.
No such thing as an undocumented they are illegal aliens. Illegals either used fake or stolen documents to work or committed tax evasion. Those are felonies! They also took a job they weren't entitled to and therefore it was a job that should have gone to an American. If they were deported instead those jobs would go to Americans and they in turn would be paying their fair share of taxes. Illegal aliens cost us over $100 billion a year well above anything they pay into the system. How's them apples?

Well said, Oldglory! I was just about to post something similar but you beat me to it

I will add that illegals don't strengthen our nation. Rather, they weaken it. Illegals take far, far more than they give.

yup I knew it and i've been saying it....the whole "anybody but Trump" trope by Dem voters and 'indepedents' can only last but for so long. The "vote for me, i'm not the other guy" act never works for the long run.

Eventually Biden WILL have to stand for actual policy changes and whether people LIKE IT OR NOT, he is going to have to go with the Dem suicide vest of open borders, slavery reparations, police defunding, free healthcare (including for illegals) and other backwards thinking issues that a minority of Americans actually support.

He cannot win the preisdency by hanging his hat on the hook of bad press for Trump forever.

Find for me a DNC statement supporting open borders, reparations, police defunding, free health care.

I would agree with Biden that removing health care to state funded makes sense. The rest of the modern world is able to do it so we should be at least as able.

The other stuff is mostly local silliness. No rational person wants to defund the police. Maybe some reform and lighter enforcement. But basically we all believe we need the cops.

And those favoring government or self deporting have never gotten above 30% and likely never will.

So the will of the people is to provide the illegals with a path to permanent residence.

And I believe that is a necessary step to achieve control of the immigration system.
there is a big difference between wanting them deported, and wanting to REWARD them with amnesty

the will of the people is to have them do things LEGALLY, the will of the people is not to reward criminals

As I said before, Amnesty, and things like free healthcare and free college which all the Democrat candidates said they want are ALL REWARDS for breaking the law and entering in an illegal and UNSECURED manner.

Sorry guys but the people want them to be given the opportunity to remain. It is also the only rational approach. The general population is utterly unwilling to even attempt to remove the illegals. It would cost a fortune and would take a decade or more and might well fail. As cities start to get burned down and kids killed the belief in the effort will likely fade.

So there are two rational outcomes. We allow the existing thing to roll on. Likely lead to a significant growth in illegal aliens as there will be an obvious support system for them.

Or we establish some legal status for the vast majority of the illegal aliens and throw out the worst of them. Does not need to go to citizenship though we may want to deal with that in a decade or so.

And the longer we wait the more likely a bad outcome. Particularly a significant increase in the population.

Sorry, your logic is so convoluted I really don't want to respond beyond a crass remark.
