Should they be Chinese or Japanese or north Korean or South Korean or Mongolian or Pakistani or Indian? Speaking as an expert on why Asian culture has a far superior value system.

This comment is disingenuous because nearly all Asian American cultures stress the qualities that were stated in the OP.
Abandon their current approach (it has failed) and adopt the basics of Asian-American culture, which has proven successful.

Again. Put the responsibility on those who are discriminated against and disenfranchised by others with the privilege and the power to NOT discriminate and disenfranchise.
Here's an idea. How about the privileged and powerful WHITE people stop discriminating against people that don't look like them? What a novel idea.
Also, and this will scare some white people, share some of that power by allowing others to be equal and not subjugate them with laws and institutional racism because of color? Another novel idea.
I guess the slaves should have freed themselves huh? Those in Africa should have just decided not to get on the boats I guess. They should have just ripped their iron chains off with their bare hands and attacked those with guns.
What the hell kind of stupid idea to suggest someone adopt another culture? Some white people need to adopt the culture of human decency.
PS. THe very suggestion that others should do all the work while the people who are the cause of the problem sit on their hands and do nothing. That reeks of white privilege.

If they were capable, Africa would be more like one of those developed modern day countries. Look at Africa now? What's going on over there? What business are they into? Poaching wildlife in some areas. Pirate gun boat operation in other areas. Warlord kidnapping numbers of school girls which are then raped and murdered later on in yet other areas. And running out white farmers in other areas. If you want them to be like a developed modern day Asian culture/country, that's the same as pulling out a weed from one yard and transplanting it in another yard thinking that doing so it will grow to be a beautiful flower plant.
Black people learned our culture from WHITE RACIST, over hundreds of years. We do not adopt Asian culture because you don't adopt a culture from words in a book, but rather, by living around and being immersed TOTALLY, in Asian culture. What....should black parents take their newborns and have them raised in an Asian family? The fact that we are not doing that, in your opinion, shows that we are not being accountable?
Obviously most of you don't know or understand the process of acculturation. If you think it can come from a textbook or DIY video then you don't know jack slit!!! If its just a matter of doing or not doing certain things as a set of instructions.....what do you need Asians for? Just follow the instructions. Again, however, that is not how acculturation works. It 24/7 seeing and doing, subconsciously. There is no effort being made. It's a natural process.
So then you are saying there is no way out, no way to change because of what was learned hundreds of years ago and poor blacks are stuck in a bad cycle forever.
Can we get one of the black folk on here to add that idea to the agenda of the next meeting of all the black folk in the country where they all decide collectively how to run their lives?

You are so unworldly. How many of these countries have you visited and/or studied so that you could make that ridiculous statement. You need to pack your bags and see for yourself.

Uhm, pretty sure that black people in the top three income quintiles have already adopted the standard stereotype behaviors of Asians in the top three income quintiles, or anyone in the top income quintiles, pretty much.
Don't misuse statistics like liberals, apologists, race hucksters and welfare state pimps do. There may indeed be a larger percentage of black Americans in the bottom two income quintiles, but just under half of black Americans are not. Those successful black people all live in the exact same United States as the less successful ones. Same for rich and poor white people, Asian people, heterosexual/homosexual, male/female, etc.
Every successful person in the US lives in the exact same US as a not-successful person that is the exact same gender, race, religion, sexual identification, etc. It isn't just Asians that are smart and hard working, because the successful folks of any color share those same traits as it is the behavior that determines the successful outcome, not the race of the person engaging in the behavior.
Better title - "unsuccessful people should adopt the culture of successful people."
If you want to look at a statistic, then I guess we could say a larger percentage of unsuccessful black people should try to emulate the behaviors and culture of successful black people, but again, that is true of anyone of any characteristic. If a poor white person living in the trailer park wants a better life, they should emulate any/all of the countless black people who are successful, or Asian people who are successful, or transgender paraplegics who are successful, or immigrants who are successful, or ANYONE UNDER THE FREAKING SUN who is successful. The behaviors and culture are almost identical.
