Yawn.

The day that Trump leaves Twitter = Instant crash of Twitter.

They all know it. Absolutely loathe to admit it.

You mustn't use twitter a lot (I can't blame you it's cancerous).

https://www.brandwatch.com/blog/most-twitter-followers/

Even if Barack Obama left twitter it wouldn't do anything. Noone on Twitter follows only one person, and Twitter is bigger than one person.
https://www.omnicoreagency.com/twitter-statistics/

80% of all Twitterfolk live outside the U.S, while it's dominated following wise by Americans/American News and companies, it's been moving international for years and the legacy of Americans being the most followed on twitter is slowly coming to an end. As content from outside the U.S starts to trend more and more due to it's increasingly international user base.

Most Twitterfolk are millenial age, not Trump's target audience.

500k Users Flock to Twitter Competitor After Twitter Shuts Down Pro-Trump Accounts

It doesn't say they are quitting Twitter themselves, but if they are ... Good riddance.

They can play in their own hall of mirrors and share fantasies with one another.

59 million for Twitter??

Try 330 million ACTIVE users. And 145 Million daily users.

They won't kick trump off their platform, but at least they're putting a warning on all his tweets that advocate violence and spread misinformation. trump will never leave Twitter. He loves them too much to quit them.
Funny how only some violators of "twitter's rules" get kicked.

If they lost this exemption you are removing government interference in the market, not adding it.

The argument being made by Republicans is to maintain that exemption they have a responsibility, specifically to not censor or engage in editorial practices for political speech.

If Twitter feels this isn't aligned with the policies they can declare themselves content publisher and move on. That however would result in them getting sued out of existence with their current business model.
Twitter and Facebook are walking a high wire these days. When Democrats demand that Social Media Censure their Political Opposition - And they comply, they not only run the big risk of losing that “carve out”, they fully deserve to lose it. Facebook understands this clearly.... Twitter has been putting their Ideology above Common (and fiscal legal sense).

Example ... the Biden Campaign feels Arrogantly Confident in Demanding that Twitter Censor the President of the United States. They will do the same to any Citizen ... which is exactly what Communist & Totalitarian Regimes do to their own Citizens.

Biden campaign asks Twitter, Facebook to remove Trump posts bashing mail-in voting |Reuters - 6/22/20

President Trump, the DOJ and others have not “bashed mail-in voting” ... the object (as they should) to Mass Mailings of Ballots with out any verification of Voter Registration or Identification.

Democrats NEED these unidentifiable Mass Ballots .... the Biden Campaign NEEDS them and it denying the help of Social Media to Censor their Opposition.
