Why is it hypocrisy?
There are liberals who believe in and carry, others who don't.
We don't have to walk lockstep like Rs do.
Feinstein is a lib? I am shocked.

Because she is the one leading the charge for new gun legislation. Typically I don't agree with the hypocrisy cries where someone has no choice e.g. X is a hypocrite for collecting SS if they are advocating against it. In this case I think it fits because the Diane Feinesteins of the world and the wealthy will most certainly have a niche carved out the law allowing them and their security personnel access to these weapons.
You have an example of this in New York now, the rich and wealthy aren't walking around the streets of NYC unarmed but the common man doesn't have that option.
