So that's a no.

Got it.

Hmmmmmm I wonder if you demand the same personal responsibility from all the selfish protesters out there with no masks on screaming and spewing Covid around?

Even the ones with some type of face coverings are often wearing a bandanna, which is practically useless as far as preventing Covid spread.

He appears to have made poor choices potentially needlessly exposing himself to others while also not taking the necessary precautions doing so. Someone of his age and existing health issues should have been far more careful and done all to minimize risk. He did not and ultimately paid for it with his life. May his family and friends find some comfort in this tragic time of grief. It is never easy to lose someone you are close to.

It doesn't matter to me where he got it. For a person with all of his risk factors to show up at the most likely place to contract the virus with or without a mask is mind boggling. It's a matter of sooner or later with these types. Its like when Rock Hudson died of Aids. He was a person with every reason to not be careless.

So the unresolved question in my mind is....did COVID kill him or did being put on a ventilator kill him?
Ventilators don't kill, they prevent patients from dying of respiratory failure.

Maybe he believed that wearing a mask was to protect everyone else and not him.

He actually had stage IV cancer that had metastasized. His immune system was shot, so not much chance to survive corona.

From what I have read he's been cancer free for well over a decade now.

But if what you say is true, then that makes him a stupid, stupid man for putting himself in such danger.
