If it's true he's applied for a court appointed attorney, I'm not seeing "wealth privilege" here.
Although you can call it an "accident", knowingly driving onto a highway that's been blocked off isn't quite the same as driving along legally and suddenly hitting a pedestrian you hadn't seen quickly enough.
Some accidents bear much more culpability than others.

Show us a photo please of how one vehicle can stop someone bent on escaping when he has four lanes and two shoulders of clear egress.
Edit: I just checked google maps and at the place where southbound I-5 goes out of sight under the Convention Center and Freeway Park, it's five lanes and two shoulders. "placed his own car in the way of Kelete's car"?

Will you quit with the false information. There is video on this thread where he stopped the car after the accident - 2 of the protestors than ran up to the car and started hitting the car and yelling for him to get out and that is when he took off again.
I get really frustrated when there is video evidence that people fail to view and continue on their own agenda.
