Tanning has no business in Asia. Actually people spend lots of money on whitening products.

That's considered racist in the occupied West. It's good to be darker and bad to be artificially or naturally lighter.

I remember seeing Tony Rock (Chris Rock's funnier brother) live a while back. He did a pretty funny bit about this, saying things like when he saw white people tanning he felt like they were mocking him. He went on for a while in this vein, and it was all really funny and done in such a playful and non-confrontational manner.

The crowd was pretty evenly mixed racially, and a good portion of his show was about racial topics and he used all of these (obvious and true) stereotypes about white people and black people. This was about ten years ago so this stuff was still allowed and people still thought it was funny. He might be able to still pull it off today, since he's a black guy. He's got some pretty good stuff online, but I haven't really been able to find most of the material from this particular show.

I don't like to tan, but we all need a good dose of Vitamin D now, to help us combat COVID-19, so it's important to sit outside long enough to absorb enough sun rays to get that done, unless you have enough Vitamin D supplements to accomplish that.

So we're trying to let the sun hit just our backs and legs (and no sunscreen), for the most part, in addition to using a smaller dose of Vitamin D during the summer than we will in the Winter. We weren't taking enough Vitamin D, according to some medical experts, but now we're paying close attention to doing so.
