Seems that the Huawei CFO has turned from a crime suspect into a political prisoner as a Canadian courts has rejected evidence proving the Huawei CFO was telling the truth and that the HSBC bank is a criminal organization...
I remember the accusation that China had virus genome data deleted from databases in order to hide something. Seems that was not the case after all, the whole misunderstanding resulted from a mistake made by the Small journal, which admitted and corrected it meanwhile.
The data has been available all the time, but on a different site, nothing was hidden or deleted...
More proof of embarrassing data manipulation by US politicians, this time in a House Foreign Affairs Committee report supporting the lab-leak theory. Seems they deliberately added random zeros to amounts in order to draw wrong conclusions aimed at framing China:

few things in the universe are more predictable.
So have the American corporations who've sent American jobs to China and profited greatly from cheap labor. It's long past time they stop getting a pass.

They merely report what the West does not like to report. Don't shoot the messenger.
They quote specific organizations and people and provide their sources. So you can confirm it yourself...
Interesting how the US keeps calling the new silk road a debt trap (which has been proven to be nonsense).
On the other hand I read this from the book linked below:
Quote:
As Chief Economist and Director of Economics and Regional Planning at MAIN, his primary job was to convince Less Developed Countries (LDCs) around the world to accept multibillion dollar loans for infrastructure projects and to see to it that most of this money ended up at MAIN, Bechtel, Halliburton, Brown and Root, and other U.S. engineering/construction companies. The loans left the recipient countries wallowing in debt and highly vulnerable to outside political and commercial interests.

That's fine, you're free to believe what you wish.
I have nothing against China, but the Chinese government is corrupt, despotic, and is trying to create its own elaborate form of imperialism, and continues to threaten Taiwan, Japan, and other nations in Asia.
China is facing its own massive issues, including a huge debt crisis:
Not to mention the consequences of China's continuing destruction of their own environment. It's rare to find birds and other animals near any of China's major cities due to the incredible amount of air & water pollution. When Chinese tourists visit Europe and North America, they're shocked by how many trees, birds, and animals they see because there are so few of them in the developed parts of China.
They merely want back what was stolen from them in the past.
Taiwan is part of China, anyway. Japan has yet to give back an island they agreed to give back after the war, but never did.
The SCS situation is a bit messy, and not nearly as clear as people in the West think. I even read of a Japanese historian who said some of the islands belong to China.
Like every country China has its domestic problems, but debt is modest compared to Western countries, your video repeats Gordon Chang predictions, that have totally failed for like twenty years.
And they are fixing the environment. The air quality in big cities has already improved quite a bit. They are planting trees like no other country on this planet.
Also, when you say you have nothing against China, but against the Chinese government, that makes no sense. The two are closely intertwined. The Chinese people support their government like never before.
So, either you dislike China including its people, or you like it, including its government.
Your statement is like saying, you like Iran, but you hate Islam. It is impossible as both are inseparable.
Of course I know that kind of talk is popular with Western politicians who try to drive a wedge between the Chinese people and their government, but in vain, won't happen.
