If I was so inclined, which I am not, I would organize and effort to go through the trash and take out the ballots people threw out and then fill it out for my candidate of choice. But I'm not so inclined, so I won't. If I was so inclined, which I'm not, I might even organize an effort to send people door to door, claiming they are from the government and are there to collect ballots for disposal and then fill it out for my candidate of choice. But I'm not so inclined, so I won't.
I suspect you will be able to buy all the ballots you want on Ebay. It will quickly establish a market price.
So there were ballots sent out based on a voter list. People have moved and so the ballots were returned.
The individuals -- if they are voters would know they did not receive a mail in ballot and would request one.
This isn't fraud, this isn't sketchy.
Come on now -- this i not rocket science. A state could say that all voters should have received their ballot by Septmber 30th. If they haven't they should go online and check to confirm they are on voter list, have the right address. THEN........You notify and get a ballot and vote.
Nowadays if you move and voter lists aren't updated -- when you show up at the poll, aren't on the list you give a provisional ballot....and
58% of the returned ballots were found to be 'inactive' --- death, moving, etc .
42% were active.......and obviously those individuals did not look for a ballot.
Voter lists aren't perfect. I moved in 2010 from Georgia to South Carolina. I registered in South Carolina and was on the voter lists here for 2016. After the story popped up that Trump or Ivanka were on two lists because of moving.....I can't remember who it was....I checked -- and lo and behold I was on a list in Georgia. Thing is -- I no longer had a Georgia ID so I would never have been able to vote there.
So --- say Georgia had decided to do mail in -- I would have been sent a ballot in Georgia.
(I have subsequently notified Georgia that I was no longer a resident of the state.)
