Good thing I don't watch basketball, cause if I did I would not watch it anymore. It would go in the trash along with the MBA and NFL and maybe the NCAA.
I understand the demonstration again racism in the country. But they should not be using their status and NBA platform to do so. It was so bad that even all the commercials were pushing all the BLM mantra.
I think it's up to the organizations to decide what they want. Players, like all employees, have a right to do whatever they want. Their employers, have a right to do what they want in response to it - whether it's to get the whole team to take a knee (and some players can refuse) or get rid of the player.
But as I've said before, it's a meaningless gesture because it doesn't bring about change. And it WILL alienate people just as it did with the NFL.
Good, these liberal scum should get used to living their lives on their knees as they will be under the oppression of the government they want instilled.

You do realize pretty much all forms of entertainment back Black Lives Matter? Sports, TV, movies, actors/actresses/writers, musicians, authors etc. Apple and Microsoft too, so the phone/tablet/computer you’re using right now. Likely the restaurants you order food from.

What is really sad is that they all believe that black lives matter (which they do), yet they are putting their support behind a hateful left wing group with a nasty agenda that has little to do with promoting the value of black lives.
The rest of them just do it to protect profits and their brand from the vicious leftist mobs that will attack them.
If one of the black players was to wear a pin that said All Lives Matter, now that would be something to celebrate and raise up. But the league would never allow it, aside the fact it would be suicide for that player. Truly sad!

No, they don't. They don't believe that at all. They don't do anything meaningful in the black community to lead us to think they all believe black lives matter.
That's a myth and it's the reason so many black people living in those communities come right out and say that nobody gives a damn about them. It's because for the most part - that's true.
Black people are used as pawns by politicians (mostly Democrats), by Hollywood, by companies all day, every day. It costs nothing to change advertising companies had already budgeted for and add a bit about black lives or BLM. It's the proverbial pat on the head before they turn their backs and walk away.
Taking a knee for criminal thugs is trending these days.
And that says so much about the downward spiral our nation has experienced over the last 50 years under the concerned efforts to that end by the left, including media, DemocRAT party, entertainment of other allied forces.
