The Republicans who claim to be in favor of fiscal sanity first voted for trillions in spending on the CARES act. Now they pass their trillion dollar HEALS act and will likely cave to the Democrats and pass a 4-5 trillion dollar HEROES act.

So if the Democrats get all or almost all of what they want anyways, what is the point in voting Republican? All it does it slow down the inevitable. The Republicans constantly talked of fiscal sanity yet caved each time during the Obama years as well.

If the Republicans aren't going to have some balls and walk away from a bad deal then I am just going to vote Democrat or third party. No sense in wasting my vote. We have socialists and socialist lites running our country right now.

I might consider voting for Biden because there is no real difference between him and Trump. At least with Biden and Democratic control of house and senate there will be less gridlock and things will get done quicker. I may not like the things that they are doing but its not like the Republicans and Trump are doing anything different.

What you'll have is the far left being appeased every time they open their mouths. We can get this country back on the right track but not under Democratic rule. If you want to give up your constitution rights - go ahead and vote for the Democratic candidate - I'll take my chances with Trump for another 4 yrs. It's more than just about money.

Plenty of Republicans wear masks .
I'd bet a paycheck that more Republicans wear masks than Democrats condemn the riots.

And the death counts are fudged.

I agree that Republicans are only slightly better than Democrats on budget issues, but all the deficit hawks in the world won't change DC if they can't get elected.

The American people demand handouts from the federal government, and if they don't get them, they'll vote in someone that will provide them.

Right now, lots of people are afraid to return to work, school, etc., so being seen as forcing the issue by not helping small businesses or extending unemployment benefits until better treatments for Covid-19 are available is a self-inflicted political death sentence.

In a few months, a vaccine will be available and we'll slowly go back to life as it was before, with more debt, but this isn't something that could reasonably been avoided.

Hopefully we learned our lesson about doing business with China.

They are not our friends, and they are not our allies, so depending on them in any way is foolhardy.

Trump started the process of taking control back from China and that ought to be a priority going forward.

Biden won't do that and he won't put American workers first because he's looking for a bribe, even if it is deferred or channeled through relatives.

Moreover, Democrats have made clear through the unwarranted 2016 recounts, leaning on electors, the Russiagate attempted coup, mass ballot mailings and legalized ballot harvesting that they have committed themselves to election tampering going forward.

Without Republicans in the majority, we'll lose the republic.

We dodged a bullet with Hillary, I hope we are that lucky again.

Response: While Republicans and Democrats sling mud at each other Conservatives take a more reasonable approach.

Of the 100% reported cases 3% of the reported cases ended in death.
Breaking that 3% further down to people who were sickly and elderly.
A virus that is potentially deadly to just a small fraction of the population.
As the country was dealt a significant blow decisions had to be made quickly do lessen the damage.
The Country was shut down. Now the impact is being felt. This virus ( I believe ) will soon run its course
as very few have very long life spans. What will await us when that time comes?
Civil unrest? A dead economy? A great Depression?

Destroy a country to save a few or Save the country and expect casualties.
America needs to get back to work..........................

The Republicans have essentially become the Democrats of a few years ago, maybe decades ago, and the Democrats are now full blown Communists. That's why.

Just stop with the stupid virus panic already. It is more than old, and time to stop this nonsense. I guarantee it will stop Nov 5th should Harris win, heaven forbid.
