I would have been amazing to see what could have been done if the last 4 years weren't spent on impeachments, resisting, making false accusations, "leaking" everything, and generally having swampy DC, Republicans included, fighting Trump just for the sake of fighting Trump. Alas.

Often before elections occur rulers hoping to be authoritarians will give things away to the population. This tends to be more effective the higher the inequality is within the country.



Executive orders have probably been written up, and the reset on their ad campaign will revolve around it, and the changes to pharmaceuticals that he did earlier. Just like the prior one he will try and do it via executive order. That is how you convince a population that maybe...just maybe the rule via executive order isn't so bad.


They're eventually wrong, but by the time they get there its always been one tiny step at a time.

Trump's plan is probably similar to Ivanka's advice to the newly unemployed: Find something new. (The modern "Let them eat cake" Marie Antoinette allegedly said. Except Ivanka's comment's not mere anecdote).
